What we do
Great coffee is only the beginning. Behind the counter is hands-on training, life-skills, fresh starts, and a growing web of community.
The café is our front door
Every coffee we pour funds something bigger, mentoring young people, opening doors for those the world overlooks, and bringing our community together. Here's how.
Training
Led by hospitality professionals, our trainees learn real skills in a real café, with a mentor beside them the whole way. No experience needed. Just a willingness to have a go.
A regular shift from four to ten weeks in a hands-on role across front-of-house, kitchen and barista. Our program is 100% free for our trainees. We cover all the training, time and certifications. All tailored specific for each young person.
Week-long placements for local students to try hospitality in a supportive, real-world setting.
We support those who want to grow and transform, enabling them to thrive and achieve their goals. These skills are delivered in a grass-roots, informal, and communal environment.
Beyond our four walls
Our pathways don't end at the café door.
We walk alongside young people at the hardest crossroads, those the world too often overlooks, offering training, mentoring and a genuine fresh start as they find their way back into community life. Because everyone deserves a place to belong, and a path forward.
With community
We've run countless initiatives and projects, partnering with local organisations from every walk of life. Real change happens with a community, not to one.
Feast of Stories and shared tables that bring neighbours together over honest food and real conversation.
We team up with local organisations to deliver mentoring, training and support, like our award-recognised co-working project with Sunbury & Cobaw Community Health.
Coffees and meals quietly provided for those who need them, 3,315 coffees and 605 meals in 2025 alone.
We're forever imagining new ways to draw our region together. There's more to come, watch this space.
Volunteer your time, partner with us, or help fund the next young person's fresh start.
